We will not stock anything that contains artificial ingredients, colours, flavourings or preservatives  – where possible we sell the organic alternative.  

We offer fresh organic fruit & vegetables ~ dairy ~ meat ~ vegetarian options ~ delicatessen ~ fresh bread & bakery products ~ beans, pulses, nuts, seeds & dried fruit ~ flour & specialist flours for home baking ~ large choice of international ingredients ~ dairy alternatives ~ soft drinks juice & cordials ~ beer, wine, cider, spirits, cigarettes & tobacco ~ personal care products including popular branded cosmetics, in fact everything you expect in a supermarket. We also have an on line ordering service with worldwide delivery.

We aim to offer a friendly, efficient, knowledgeable & personal service reminiscent of yesteryear in a stylish supermarket environment and to offer the end consumer as much choice as is available within the constraints of our strict buying policy.

Our stock breakdown is approximately 70% organic ~ 30 % all natural. When we select products our principle criteria is the ingredients.  Food mileage is then calculated and the product disregarded if excessive. We then look at the packaging for shelf appeal, then special dietary needs. We stock all the fairly traded products that fall within our buying policy. Our very extensive range of fresh fruit & vegetables are bought from the nearest organic wholesalers / co-operative of farmers and we compete ~ and beat ~ the majors on price on nearly all like for like fresh items

Our store is stunning. Modern, bright, clean, with dramatic lighting, a logical layout

of products from entrance to exit, with vast areas for chilled & frozen products.

We have motivated, happy & helpful staff who enjoy chatting with customers, recognising them as individuals.

         Opening times 8am ~ 10pm  7 days a week [Bank holiday times vary]
